Grand Forks is the third-largest city in the State of North Dakota (after Fargo and Bismarck) and is the county seat of Grand Forks County. You've now added Splasher's of the South Seas to your itinerary. Family-friendly places like University of North Dakota and Flood Memorial Monument will thrill your kids. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Grand Forks: Fargo (Edgewood Golf, Lindenwood Park, &more), Moorhead (Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County & Bluestem Prairie Preserve) and Bemidji (Headwaters Science Center & Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox). There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Widman's Candy Shop, admire the majestic nature at Grahams Island State Park, join the crowd at River Cities Speedway, and steep yourself in history at Bonanzaville.

For photos, maps, more things to do, and other tourist information, read our Grand Forks trip maker app.

In June, plan for daily highs up to 77°F, and evening lows to 54°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
