Grand Forks is the third-largest city in the State of North Dakota (after Fargo and Bismarck) and is the county seat of Grand Forks County. You've now added Splasher's of the South Seas to your itinerary. Family-friendly places like Red River Zoo and Thunder Road Amusement Park will thrill your kids. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Grand Forks: Bemidji (Headwaters Science Center & Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox), Fargo (Edgewood Golf, Lindenwood Park, &more) and Moorhead (Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County & Bluestem Prairie Preserve). There's still lots to do: gain insight at University of North Dakota, tee off at King's Walk Golf Course, join the crowd at River Cities Speedway, and appreciate the history behind Flood Memorial Monument.

To find reviews, photos, ratings, and other tourist information, read our Grand Forks trip maker app.

In June, plan for daily highs up to 77°F, and evening lows to 54°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
