Kissamos— 2 nights
A quiet port town situated on Crete's western tip, Kissamos attracts mostly domestic tourists and possesses more of the quintessential Greek feel than livelier resorts strung along the island's coastline. On the 6th (Wed), stroll the grounds of German War Cemetery, then get engrossed in the history at Archaeological Museum of Kissamos, then kick back and relax at Balos Beach, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Falassarna Beach. Keep things going the next day: indulge your taste buds at Biolea Olive Stone Mill, examine the collection at Olive Tree Museum of Vouves, examine the collection at Museum of Typography, then stroll the grounds of Souda Bay War Cemetery, and finally kick back and relax at Agia Marina Beach.
