Fargo is the most populous city in the state of North Dakota, accounting for over 15% of the state population. Do some cultural sightseeing at Bonanzaville and Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County. For shopping fun, head to West Acres Shopping Center or Shady Hollow Flea Market. Venture out of the city with trips to Detroit Lake Public Beach (in Detroit Lakes) and Maple River Winery (in Casselton). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Roger Maris Museum, sample the tasty concoctions at Junkyard Brewing Company, pause for some serene contemplation at Sts. Anne & Joachim Catholic Church, and learn more about the world around you at Red River Zoo.

To find ratings, reviews, more things to do, and other tourist information, go to the Fargo day trip app.

In August in Fargo, expect temperatures between 81°F during the day and 58°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
