Fargo is the most populous city in the state of North Dakota, accounting for over 15% of the state population. Kids will appreciate attractions like Fargo Air Museum and Red River Zoo. Explore Fargo's surroundings by going to University of North Dakota (in Grand Forks), Chahinkapa Zoo (in Wahpeton) and Otto the Big Otter (in Fergus Falls). There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, get in on the family fun at Thunder Road Amusement Park, examine the collection at Roger Maris Museum, and contemplate the long history of Bonanzaville.

For maps, other places to visit, reviews, and other tourist information, read Fargo road trip planning site.

Expect a daytime high around 40°F in November, and nighttime lows around 23°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
