Grand Forks is the third-largest city in the State of North Dakota (after Fargo and Bismarck) and is the county seat of Grand Forks County. Venture out of the city with trips to Moorhead (Comstock House, Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, &more), Fargo (Rheault Farm, The Windbreak, &more) and Devils Lake (Perch Patrol, Grahams Island State Park, &more). There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Bonanzaville, look for all kinds of wild species at Sullys Hill National Game Preserve, gain insight at University of North Dakota, and join the crowd at River Cities Speedway.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiport is Hector International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 23°C in May, and nighttime lows around 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 27th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
