Bismarck is the capital of the U.S. Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sun): get a sense of history and politics at North Dakota State Capitol Building and then get engrossed in the history at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. On the next day, meet the residents at The Dakota Zoo, enjoy some diversion at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, and then contemplate the long history of On-A-Slant Village.
