  We took a chance on this museum and weren't expecting much. Boy were we surprised! This doesn't look like much on the outside and is only open for a few hours on Saturdays. But it's actually a really....  more »

  Great place to learn about the railroad's history in Minot! See historic photos, documents and antiques, including RR switching panel, crossing signs & lights, benches, ticket counter, engine bells and whistles, hats & uniforms. There are scale model trains and a play area for kids. There is also a small gift shop. Can even see a photo of Minot's namesake, Henry Minot. Passionate staff looks forward to answering questions and can tell you why Minot is the "Magic City!"
